FLOW-3D AM Software

FLOW-3D AM provides the powder laying and melt pool modeling tools required for additive manufacturing. Processing parameters such as laser power and speed, scan path, scan spacing, powder size/density distribution and powder bed filling will affect the additive manufacturing process and the mechanical properties of the finished product. Through the software, researchers can understand the impact of these processing parameters on basic physical phenomena such as melt pool dynamics, pore formation, solidification and microstructure evolution. These results can find better and more suitable forming conditions to fully utilize the advantages of additive manufacturing.
